In Shadow Surfing, intense corals and fiery washes of color collide with deep blacks and turbulent passages of blue. Layers of acrylic and oil create a restless, shifting surface, where sweeping gestures suggest both the force of an approaching wave and the exhilaration of being carried by it. The work explores the possibility of finding freedom within discomfort, of navigating the unknown without surrendering to it. Darkness becomes something more than an obstacle; it becomes part of the movement, the depth, and the experience of being fully human.
