Haven explores the feeling of finding refuge within something vivid and alive. Warm fields of coral, red, and vermillion gather around a central form, while softened passages of pale color create space for the composition to breathe. The painting moves between intensity and quite. Its marks are energetic but partially obscured, layered and softened as though seen through atmosphere or memory. At its center is a sense of being held; not removed from the noise and complexity of life, but sheltered within it.
