Luminous passages of coral, amber and gold emerge from deep expanses of violet and emerald green, creating a composition that feels both volatile and strangely tender. Delicate, branching marks stretch across the surface like traces of something taking hold, while shifting layers of color suggest an energy that cannot be contained.
All Consuming explores the overwhelming nature of emotions that seem to occupy every corner of our existence. Whether born of love, longing, grief or desire, some feelings resist moderation, growing beyond the boundaries we attempt to give them. The work considers the beauty and vulnerability of surrendering to something powerful enough to momentarily eclipse everything else.
